I think dude should just write the book. I get people didn't like the show's ending, but who cares. Ideally your writing can flesh it out and improve it. The general story beats aren't terrible, but I think they tried too hard to make everything Bigger and it worked against them

I think it would be so cool for a zombie story where the white-walker-y night king zombie leader reveals that actually they can control ashes of cremated people. Like it’s not about controlling functioning body pieces, it’s about the matter the soul possesses
