Basically, sites try to put in place rules for the LLMs to get them to not follow instructions when users ask for certain kinds of info, eg "sorry, I'm not authorized to talk about that" when users bring up sex, weapons, etc.

I've seen UK based linguists complaining about Makaton before, but not something that's widely known here in North America, if they're working on expanding it now, ugh.

We did this several times already in the US as signed exact english. Makaton in the US would be yet another opportunity for people to step on the autonomy of Deaf people.
