Anyone debating or analyzing Kilmar Abrego Garcia's life or record is doing a grave disservice.

He could be El Chapo. He could be Charles Manson. He could be the Dalai Lama.

It doesn't matter. What has happened to him and others is clearly a violation of America's core laws and principles.

I think because it's a holiday weekend for many people, they're choosing to use the 19th as a day of service as opposed to being in the streets.

HUGE WIN: A federal judge just issued a lengthy TRO prohibiting the Trump administration from freezing federal funds to Maine over their policies protecting transgender youth.

They called the targeting of brown people of another faith and erosion of civil liberties the β€œpatriot” act so you would feel guilty or fearful for being against it. So you would adopt an us versus them mindset. You were being groomed for autocratic rule all along.

Today was an amazing day for public protest and exercising first amendment rights.

Do it again. And often. It’s not just one day. It has to be for a lot of days.

It seems clear we are seeing the beginnings of a sustained mass protest movement to oust Trump.

Protest changes the permission structure. It says fascists will not be allowed to proceed unencumbered. And if you didn't think there was anything to be done, a protest shows you many think otherwise.

That is wonderful but please amplify those of us in deep red states: Frisco, TX today, one of many small but mighty protests.

Man, the big huge protests in places like Boston, DC, NY, Chicago, and Minneapolis are awe-inspiring.

But my heart is gonna explode looking at these crowds of people out in tiny Maine towns and super red Alabama towns. Places where 15% of the population is on the street corner with more coming!

I asked the one high ranking policeman I saw on 5th Ave why there were so few police. He said β€œWe did not expect anything like this. Don’t tell anyone but I’ve only got 44 officers out here β€” and it’s a great crowd, great event, no incidents.”

Ferguson Missouri. People got killed and that was that. Other country police forces don’t carry guns. Ours have tanks. Therefore, dissent is crushed.

True.

Also true that a lot of Americans burned things the last five years. Our militarized police attacked them and I believe there are credible accounts of assassinations.

It’s not the right word but I’m fascinated by the cognitive dissonance. Is it racism? Most assuredly. But are there other layers? (Racism being the thickest?)

Sedona Prince needs to be investigated for the serious accusations leveled at her by five different people. That’s it.
