I just finished marking their final assessments. This student wrote his on EU gender policy. It was underpinned by impressive research, was interdisciplinarily informed, & so critically thoughtful. That one lecture opened this student's eyes to new (to him) literature: de Beauvoir, Butler, Zalewski.
