If Trump continues to violate court orders on SNAP, we should withhold payment of money owed to the federal government. My bill, the RECOURSE Act, would establish a process for New York to do this, but state and city officials could act without it, and they should.

BREAKING: Three Democratic justices on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court have all won another 10-year term in a retention election. The Court’s 5-2 Democratic majority will remain, giving Democrats the chance to continue using it to protect voting rights. More to come.
