This underscores the importance of stratifying patients who are given the CFS or ME/CFS label. A diagnosis of #MyalgicEncephalomyelitis needs to recognize the enterovirus connection. The #MEICC is a useful tool to stratify patients.

More evidence that ME/CFS is not just related to brain dysfunction. A decrease in blood perfusion to muscles causes ion imbalances which damages the muscle and causes dysfunction of the mitochondria. Possible targets for new treatments! Article below.
