I learned about the closure of SPD from Black Lawrence Press, and promptly went and ordered a bunch of poetry from them. My favorite book of theirs so far is Dominant Genes by SJ Sindu, a hybrids poetry/essay collection. They publish fiction and non-fiction as well.
