Finished my game of 233 Failure To Communicate. The Germans couldn't pass their morale checks (average roll was 8.7), and the French held onto the last building for the victory.

Our DC Conscripts game day on Saturday started with a scenario analysis to help a newer player develop a strategy for a scenario that he chose. On the other table, a Sword and Fire scenario raged. Join us next month for our next ASL game day in northern Virginia.

We finished our long-running game of OS2 The Wolf's Howl last night. This was a larger scenario from Bounding Fire's Objective Schmidt, recreating battles in the Hurtgen Forest in November 1944. Both sides had OBA, and the Germans learned to respect the American artillery.

That turned out to be a fun scenario. Surprisingly little shooting, since British forces had to be on the move to get enough VPs off the board, and lots of maneuvering.

Today’s scenario looks like a fun early war matchup.
