This is wonderful news, and will ensure continuity of the Sentinel data for many years to come. Great effort from the S2C commissioning team!

The commissioning phase of the Copernicus Sentinel-2C satellite is now officially over 🛰️!
S2C has met its requirements and it’s now ready to start operations, supporting a huge range of applications such as agriculture, emergency management or methane emissions monitoring.
