When I'm out and about with the dog, and see someone look at him and smile. You just know it's a little bit of genuine, unfiltered joy, and that can seem increasingly rare. That he has the power to brighten people's days like that gets me every time.

36 days until redundancy. Today I practiced spending a Monday morning scrabbling around on the coast path with the hound instead of sitting in Teams meetings answering inane emails. Highly recommend it.
