Trump is crying because Canada aired an ad that showed actual footage of Ronald Reagan saying he opposed tariffs. This ad, of course, came out after Trump’s Monday Truth Social post that claimed Reagan “LOVED TARIFFS FOR OUR COUNTRY, AND ITS NATIONAL SECURITY.”

I realize this oversimplifies the mechanism that is the Social Security Trust Fund (which allows the government to borrow surpluses), but the disparity of contribution is ridiculous.

I work in a retail chain, which keeps costs down by limiting full-time positions. This saves the biz $ since insurance is not offered to part-timers. MANY of these part-time workers have 2nd jobs, yet are still poor. These WORKERS need Medicaid! Every person I know on Medicaid works and pays taxes.
