5 years is not "quite short". those 5 years cost us about fourteen grand, three horrendously stressful applications, and (for example) a full half decade where nobody would offer us a mortgage because my wife only had temporary residency, so we had to keep paying a fortune in rent instead

Shouldn't there be room for multiple forms of activism or protest? I understand there are problems with SUTR but they are the only org I see consistently running counter protests across the country. Their protest in Bournemouth I attended seemed to have a reasonably broad umbrella.

Two actors posing together in what looks like a hotel room or restaurant. One of the actors is shirtless. Behind them, fancy pendants are prominently placed.
Free advertising advice for Tom Raffield: If my products were prominently placed in the hottest TV show right now I would probably make a bigger deal out of it. (Even if many viewers' eyes would be focused elsewhere.) #HeatedRivalry

Again, symptom of a lack of strategic thinking across Government is that we are simultaneously cutting university research grants, refusing to engage with university funding issues and announcing massive investment into green technology and AI.

After some consideration, the synthesis I have settled on is Starmer is bad and cynical for shamelessly pulling strings to block a rival, Burnham is bad and cynical for being ready to risk a Reform mayor in Greater Manchester for his own ambition, and it is time at last for chaos with Ed Miliband.
