Play board games with the lads. Most board games/D&D groups will be welcoming on beginners, everyone's gotta start somewhere

Latest poll puts Greens just two points behind Labour. When I said we weren't here to be disappointed in Labour but to replace them, I meant it.

I think this is supposed to be some kind of satire, but it's actually excellent comms.

I got into politics to Abolish Bad Things, and seek to continue to abolish bad things.

Green membership across Great Britain has now overtaken the Lib Dems.

@greenparty.org.uk passed 78,000 last night. @scottishgreens.org have 7,800, producing a total of 85,800.

Last month, the Lib Dems told the BBC they had 83,174: www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

What Happened to Labour's 2024 Voters? The who, what, when, how and huh of why Labour has lost so much support in such a short period of time

What Happened to Labour's 2024 Voters?

Using the recent wave of the @britishelectionstudy.com I look at people who voted Labour in 2024:
- How many are still with the party?
- How many have left?
- Why might that be?

TLDR: they've left because of economic issues/concerns, probably.

Hold a bit of cardboard that says "Palestine action" and you'll get arrested. Assault police officers in the name of racism and you get away with it.

The cat is normally quite aloof and doesn't care for company, particularly from me.

Just spent a week away and she doesn't seem to want to leave my side

When Labour in the future say you have to vote for them to stop Reform – remember there are countless reasons that argument is equal parts absurd and offensive.

But 26th August 2025 should stand out for their complete capitulation to the right.

Absolutely shameful.

This country was and still is built on multiculturalism with different cultures coming together. That’s is what makes this country great. Now and historically. Not you. Not your whiteness. Not your racism masquerading as patriotism.

Get in the sea.

🚨An important reminder of the trauma faced by asylum seekers.

Not just in fleeing persecution abroad.

Not just in the perilous and desperate journey to these shores.

But by the hatred and vitriol put on them by the right wing in this country for callous political gain.

Watched this morning and the 2 minutes or so it took Adrian to say he liked Zack was not impressive and I think is the standout moment of the campaign.

Genuinely feel there is a distinct difference in tone for leadership debates between Adrian and Zack compared to Ellie and Zack.

It's kind of my problem with their campaign, I just don't know what they're standing for. If they can't get me enthusiastic as a member for their leadership, I don't know how they will get the public to.

I've not been active with the Greens for long, but my understanding for the GE was on cost grounds they were focussing on the 4 seats they thought they could win.

From the local party view, we've got county elections and Greater Lincolnshire mayor election in May so only so much we can do.
