But then I looked back remembering how much it sucked to be made fun of at school wondering why I would ever actually make someone else feel this way. I talk about things that actively annoy me because I perceive them as an actual issue with friends in private and try to ignore the rest.

It's definitely been a process for me to realize that. Bc I think especially when you've been made fun off a lot yourself at first it's sometimes a "thank god it's not me this time" reaction. And then the temptation of finally being on the other (perceived superior) side is there.
