White tailed eagle klaxon! Spotted it in the car so turned around and parked up. Luckily had my camera in the car so wondered along the cliff and it drifted over my head. Very happy with that.

And it needs to stop focusing so much on young people. Older folk may not be committing suicide because of SM but many are being harmed quite severely in other ways.

I think it’s more complex than tobacco, which is just bad full stop. SM can be awful, but it can also be a really helpful outlet for kids struggling to make connection locally.

The debate needs to shift from bans to how do we keep the good bits of SM whilst protecting people from the bad bits.

So many articles and posts are just critical of GPs and private/right to choose providers and, whilst neither are perfect, that’s a lazy approach that ignores the underlying issues.

Nothing but sympathy for Beth Upton. Never did a thing wrong but had her life completely upended, her character assassinated and her bins publicly raked through to the point she's had to leave the country for the crime of simply existing. And still the bigots won't leave her alone.
