Weird take IMO; movie stays pretty darn close to the comic, as much as you can in a film format like this. I thought it was one of the best adaptations. Even most of the stuff they changed, like the, uh, "enemy" at the end, and dropping the pirate/privateer inserts (for time) were good moves IMO.

Yeah. There's approximately 1 cassette mech still being manufactured, and all of the companies putting out cassette-playing devices (quite a few) all use it. It's...OK. It's not good. It could be much worse. But it means they all are mediocre at playing cassettes.
