Eeyup! And a human-made version of an AI voice is always going to be more satisfying to hear than the "real" thing, simply because we have specific expectations of what such a voice should be. Decades of media shaping our internal concepts of AI is just not something that actual AI can contend with.

I think we can all agree that SHODAN would be a much less iconic villain if she was voiced with AI.

In 2022, when the genAI hype was at its peak, I used Midjourney, et al. to assist in the creation of cover artwork for two of my singles.

I'm pleased to reveal those genAI works have now been replaced by REAL art by @dashiefrickintyan.bsky.social who absolutely killed it. Epic stuff!
