Great advice. Talk therapy and EMDR can work wonders. Therapy can also be done 6 months here, 12 months there. So don't feel like it has to be a multi-year commitment at the start.

Also, consider regular exercise. 3x30 min per is good enough. You don't have to be a pro athlete or marathoner. Just move regularly. By 45 you can tell who hasn't moved for 15 years.
