the walls for my #minigolf game wouldnt work perfectly, so i started redesigning them around smaller #hexagons. the ball will have a more precise position tracked, similar to sub-pixel positioning in platformers, so walls behave as expected

recursion has several bad traits, including:
- its (generally) bad practice
- it can easily end up crashing
- people get mad at you for using it
- and it has each bad trait of recursion
interesting problem with the Scientists right now: when they cant find a valid stockpile, they dont bother picking up the box, so it stays and stacks with other boxes. (also, added textures and limits to the stockpiles!) #gamedev #science #storage #boxes #chocolate #games

the Science game now checks if station placements are overlapping. it still allows stations that are floating, though, and wont support weirdly-shaped stations. i guess thats the next step!
