How is it that when spring comes I get a fun short story idea?

In 2024 I wrote a guts-twisting fantasy dragon fight (it was fun to *me*, not the character) and now, same universum, more silly, and definitely again on the fun side.

So I tweaked my "Ghost Keeper" book a little, to make it fit *more* with what is wanted on the traditional market

> learn that your newest book is not marketable... At all
> have a breakdown
> go to Reddit for solutions
> get one
> calm down

I spoke with a few people smarter than me today and turns out my "more marketable" book is not marketable at all.

✨️The market doesn't want rom-coms from the guy's perspective✨️ so while I barely wrote it I already have to rewrite it. I'm sad and mad now...

Unhealthy overthinking... also, my book falls mainly under humor genre, and I don't see many agents representing that

I feel like I need to take a breather because I just finished my newest book and already feel like it will fail in the querying trenches 🙃
