Pretty happy overall though annoyed at some mistakes I made along the way. Thank u to all of the ~5 people who were reading this thread for joining me on this journey 💜

Won round 16 vs a very nice German living end player in the good vibes bracket, ending up with a final record of 8-8

Lost to the formidable speaker himself at table 69 in r15. Missed land 3 for too many turns otd in g3, but nabbed this

Swift 2-0 vs bant cub in r14. mu continues to be very good

Lost round 13 to Andrew, beat a nothing draw in g1 with ba sing se icetill beats, made a bad play g3 and ended up losing games 2 and 3 to spider-sense a harmonizer trigger returning crab to hand. X-7 now so dead for requal 😔

Round 12 played vs paul again lol, the x/5 deck is pretty annoying for this removal suite. Also got owned by the one spell pierce in g1 on a stock up

Ashling + twinflame took over g2 despite my deck refusing to give me a mountain off the top for the first 5 turns

The torque was obviously bad and I sided it out every match. The deck was nice though a little disappointed by 1-2

R11 defeated by a nice elves pile, kept 5 land ashling giantfall otd in g3 and drew a couple too many lands despite ashling and tweeze doing their best (ashling was killed after one rummage), 6-5 overall now

He laughed at king of games and says "tell her hi!"

R10 defeated Shuhei Nakamura in three games, lost on a decent mull to 5 in g2 and the door was very impressive g1 and g3

Deck is nice, was defeated in r9 by Paul Green's nice 4c pile with a bunch of very good rares (t4 6 drop in g1 nowhere near good enough)

Day 2 draft pod

Very excited to be able to draft again (looking forward to 0-3 this time)

r8 defeated kanister on 5c rhythm in 3, had my first t4 kill in g3 though I think I was good in the long game too. 5-3 into day 2!!

r7 2-0 ondrej on airbending (4-3 into day 2!!!!), mu continues to be very good

R6 1-2 dimir, threw pretty hard in g3 by not untapping to hold up scatter for tidebinder on my fetch, then failed to draw a 4th land for many turns

2-0 airbending in r5 (3-2 now), opponent's draws were a little anemic and he forgot he was at 18 so blocked with 9 toughness instead of 11. Ended up not mattering since I had thunder magic in hand

Playing the fully boring deck, it's kind of nice and very fun. Lost r4 to great mu cub, flooded super hard g1 and got an icetill screamed so was unable to kill for several couple turns. Was funny that if I had played out my first harmonizer the one I drew off the top would have been mega lethal.

Opened the giant p1 and figure in p3

R3 had a nice curve out and drew my rares in both games to beat a medium-looking elementals deck on some slow draws

R2 defeated sygg and his command in I believe all three games, Jason and Toothy are both 2-0 (🎉) so I successfully dodged the r3 teamkill

Have a nice draft deck, starting off with two mulls to medium sixes vs a very good elves pile 🥲 dodged the two teammates in r1 and hopefully they both win so I can dodge again next round

ofc that's assuming your moxfield decklist has spm cards instead of om1

I guess if anyone wants the "correct" way to paste your moxfield decklist containing SPM cards into melee, in the absence of any automatic conversion/support on melee's side, you can copy as plain text instead of copy for mtgo (which is my default)

Despite the disclaimer that his tweets aren't rules documents, IIUC they get treated like official rulings by people, which is unfortunate because it's unreasonable to expect TOs and judge to keep an eye on rules managers' twitters for things that clarify or seem to contradict the CR.

Separately from the Tidebinder thing—I wish there was a more agile place to list rulings that should work one way but aren't supported in the CR yet. The Dunkatog tweet was 1.5yrs before the matching CR update, during which it would have been totally reasonable to rule the other, unintended way.
