Did watch Predator Badlands last night, it was good/enjoyable, but felt less like a Predator film, more like an Aliens film, at least setting wise. Prey is mich better.

Definitely quieter, neighbour has 4 kids, a dog, and another cat. Doubt she gets much attention from them.

One thing I don't like is the "My Day" side panel that shows meetings, tasks, etc. The panel itself is fine, but the fact it remains when you switch to the calendar is a bit ridiculous.

Yeah, they were a risk to pedestrians weren't they, would easily cut through you.

Honestly, I don't think I will be. This is the first bike I've had where I'm being told to give it time, to get used to it.
I've had a lot of different bikes, hybrids, road, gravel, folders (small wheels, full sized), none required a period of "getting used to it".

I particularly liked the bit about displaying ID labels front and back. Motorcycles don't even have front plates.

Telegraph letters page, person complaining about cyclists, saying they "arrogantly ignore red lights, weave incautiously through both traffic and people on pedestrian crossings, indifferent to road regulations and public safety" before ending with a call for cyclists to "buy an annual licence, they would then be registered, issues with two identification labels, and required to display these front and back whenever cycling"

Not really, it's a relatively flat route. Wind can be more of an issue than climbs.

I did use an ebike for this journey for a while, found it made little/no difference to my overall journey times.
My average speed was/still is around 16mph.

Honestly at this point I think the Brompton isn't worth it. Too many downsides for me personally.
It's a case of not all bikes being right for everyone. 🤷🏼‍♂️
