I am 100% sure I rode that exact bus. ;-) Did you know some of those buses now shuttle people between Wild Horse campground and the Gorge amphitheater? They did get painted at some point.

Thanks to Thom Hartmann and 91.3 KBCS for hosting me last night at Town Hall! I enjoyed sharing a little of my vision for the city, including my idea for publicly funded local media (News Notes), which got a great response from the crowd.

In the 4.5-mile bike ride to pick up my kids from school, I found the following in painted bike lanes: at least 6 trash bins, a parked car, a parked firefighter truck (likely lunch break), and a parked city maintenance vehicle. This is unacceptable, and another reason why paint is not infrastructure

Moments ago: tenants of the South Shore apartment building that federal immigration agents raided at the end of September held a presser to announce they're forming a tenants union.

They're demanding, among other things, sewage removal and heat and electricity restroration.
