My daughterโ€™s speech therapist went out of business because Medicaid reimbursement rates were too low. We do not have Medicaid. Iโ€™m going to keep posting this until people understand that when Medicaid gets cut *everyone* loses services.

This is so awesome. Did you write out scripts for yourself beforehand or make it up as you went?

From Scraps to Sips: Everyday Biomass Produces Drinking Water from Thin Air Discarded food scraps, stray branches, seashells and many other natural materials are key ingredients in a new system that can pull drinkable water out of thin air developed by researchers from Theโ€ฆ

Researchers in Texas have developed a system that transforms common biomass into water-harvesting materials. The system requires minimal energy while being scalable for off-grid communities, and produces 14.19 litres of water daily per kilogram of material. buff.ly/LjuAsM7

Yeah. Heโ€™s the richest man in the world. If a foreign country wants to invade, he can just leave. Another idea is smash and rebuild.

Musk is working for musk. His interests are what matter to him. That means getting rid of things that are in his way, including, but not limited to, bureaucracy and democracy.

This is a really good podcast. I started at the beginning and havenโ€™t gotten all the way through yet, but it feels almost prophetic knowing what ive listened to was recorded before the election.

Article I says Congress makes laws and has power of the purse.

Article II requires POTUS to faithfully execute laws.

Refusing to execute laws so he can usurp Congressโ€™s budgetary authority is unconstitutional.

A self-respecting Congress would do a veto-proof resolution, and if necessary, impeach.

I think what I'm realizing that some of the skeets I'm seeing is that not enough people understand climate change as a chronic mass casualty event.

It is not a distant threat, it is an active onslaught.

Elon Musk tweet saying that people should post more positive, beautiful, or informative content.

We should do this, but only on bluesky. I'll start: Maternal mortality in Sierra Leone has fallen by over 60% since 2017 thanks to investments from the Sierra Leonean Ministry of Health and their partners.
