Here's my druid staff! Made from a cedar branch I cut off a tree in my yard, then stripped, sanded, stained, and then decorated. A lil wonky, but super good for baby's first woodworking project, and I'm real glad I could make something branchy!

It was my first #sewing project, so the hem is... Very bad xD I'll have to revisit it to secure some of the raw edges later on.

Here's a cape for my #druid outfit! Really happy with it despite the flaws in my craftsmanship. Faux fur is difficult to work with, respect to people who use this shit all the time (esp fursuit makers)

Gonna try to specifically target milkweeds when planting cuz i would love to help preserve monarch butterflies that stumble on the plants down the line. But attracting bees will be a higher priority since i know honeybees are here already and i wanna make sure they keep showing up

Currently fixating on researching local native flowers for attracting pollinators to my yard and i think im gonna try to do some major work over the winter to get perennials into the suckier parts of my parents' yard so the weekly mowing can be a smaller task
