Dear decent Americans,

A great night for you

A long way to go with that orange turd still sat in the White House, but well done.

My view still stands and of course you are entitled to yours.
Like I said, nice chatting...

I certainly hope (b) doesn't come to fruit for them!

03.11.2025 14:26 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Because they want him to be PM.
I have no idea why, or who exactly, but their agenda has always been to send Farage to the top.
No matter how many times he is racist, or fails and f#''ks up, they still shove him down our throats.

03.11.2025 12:26 β€” πŸ‘ 8    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

I'd rather not, but thanks.

02.11.2025 12:09 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I can't.
Andrew was only punished to save their own skins- no other reason.

01.11.2025 16:11 β€” πŸ‘ 18    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I agree Trump is worse, but Andrew deserves far worse than what he has got so far.
Both are vile.

01.11.2025 16:08 β€” πŸ‘ 15    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Yep exactly.
We are pretty screwed up here in the UK too though Brexit and Johnson), although the US takes the lead.

01.11.2025 15:44 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

I understand, but so many are pushing for the UK to go further and I hope we do.
Yet over here, Trump is not even mentioned during all this Andrew talk.

01.11.2025 15:26 β€” πŸ‘ 13    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Yep I know, but don't underestimate how big a deal this over here. It took public pressure to get this far, more will follow I'm sure.
Good luck to all of you.

01.11.2025 15:23 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Don't agree with the death bit, but something worse will do.

01.11.2025 15:13 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Not so strong here these days either.

01.11.2025 15:11 β€” πŸ‘ 3    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Yep, go for the lot, but especially the orange turd.

01.11.2025 15:10 β€” πŸ‘ 3    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Oh I do, but none is happening.

01.11.2025 15:09 β€” πŸ‘ 3    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

Yep, anybody and all.

01.11.2025 15:08 β€” πŸ‘ 8    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

If this can bring down Royalty and it should, then it should also bring down a joke President.

01.11.2025 15:07 β€” πŸ‘ 26    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 4    πŸ“Œ 0

Agree and so should Trump and all.

01.11.2025 15:04 β€” πŸ‘ 13    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Re the Andrew previously known as Prince...
I've no sympathy for him at all, only the victims, but it's so hard to accept many Americans calling for more, when they've their own version of Andrew installed as President.
Sure, he should face justice, but so should that orange turd in the White House.

01.11.2025 09:51 β€” πŸ‘ 1665    πŸ” 253    πŸ’¬ 72    πŸ“Œ 18

That's the difference-
Cameron and May are Tories.
You believe Starmer acts like a Tory.
Not the same thing at all.

Nice chatting...

01.11.2025 08:47 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

For starters you can’t compare them while dismissing Brexit.
Secondly, Starmer is not a Tory.
There, simple.

31.10.2025 20:40 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Sunak, Truss, Johnson, May and Cameron...
Starmer is leagues above them, even with faults and mistakes.

Corbyn, or the Greens will just not "win" an election.
So Starmer and co are our best choice in my eyes.

31.10.2025 10:47 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

He makes mistakes, is not ideal for many, but is so much better than a Tory PM, or a Farage PM nightmare.

31.10.2025 07:36 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

The relentless attacks on Starmer from the BBC (in particular Mason & Kuenssberg) & the other media goes on.
Yet we get Trump thrown down our necks every evening, without any correction or scrutiny.
Even Putin gets an easier time.
Despite all this, Starmer just gets on with the job.
I admire him.

31.10.2025 07:05 β€” πŸ‘ 20    πŸ” 4    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 1

Exactly... and many more examples too.

30.10.2025 14:53 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Sick to death of bloody Tories calling for the head of Rachel Reeves.
Sunak actually broke the law and received a penalty and then you made him PM.
Then of course there was Boris Johnson...

I recall in the 60s, Remembrance Day was one solemn Sunday morning. That was it.
It was a moving occasion at our local memorial and attended by actual WW1 and WW2 veterans. Unlike the mawkish weeks long competition for the most tasteless display of a poppy that it's become
Often, less is more.

Sadly for those wanting an out & out socialist Govt, it's not a likely outcome for the UK.
So the alternative is a Lab Govt (with LibDems, Greens etc?) of the Starmer or Blair type, or a nightmare of Tory rule or God forbid some form of Farage Govt.
I know which I prefer.
Starmer & co get my vote.

28.10.2025 10:46 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Yep and most of them who follow Reform/ Brexit Party/ UKIP are racists too, even if they are so stupid they don't realise they are.
Farage and that lot have always been about race, nothing more.

Sorry @theipaper.com but WHY is this guy talking to us about what will make the UK poorer? He was happy to grenade our economy twice…
Brexit and then his batshit budget with Truss.
He should be in political oblivion for the mess he made and the price we all have to pay for his party’s failures.
