this seems to be the main issue - people want humans to deliver their food yet don't want to pay + tip. I totally get that there are other issues with robot delivery services. They're not available in pdx, so I can't weigh in on the experience. But kicking them over is kind of childish behavior.

Also, I am not a moderate Democrat. One of the most irritating and destructive habits of the online left is acting as if progressives who urge other progressives to work in a coalition with more moderate Dems, are THEMSELVES moderate Dems. No! We are progressives who are not acting like children!

I know people like to dunk on wearing tiny "ICE OUT" pins, but I think they represent a really important culture shift. Even people who are very conscious about their image and expected to perform in a palatable way are wearing them in very public places.

also yes, cooking is a skill, but not everything has to be a super-fancy special gourmet meal like the million+ subscriber cooking youtube channels would have you believe.

I do think the charm of Obama, AOC, and Mamdani has pushed ppl into thinking every candidate needs to sweep them off their feet. idk, it’s hard to find a balance (of course they need to also work for their votes). The work isn't solely on the candidate, though.

Ugh I'm sorry. A lot of ppl just hate kids and teens but don't want to fully admit it.

And we have urgent issues going on *right now* ICE agents are still kidnapping ppl.

If children were more politically active they would be quite pissed to be told that their screen time is “the most urgent public health issue” while the largest measles outbreak since the vaccine sweeps their schools because of conspiracies that the adults in their life believed from social media.
