For the first time since Pokemon let's go, I've completed the Pokedex.

Been at a work training event today and whilst the morning was pretty decent. The afternoon session was beyond dull - fighting to stay awake.

Tomorrows session sounds alot better at least.

I'm hoping we get a proper remake for Abyss. Same style as Arise or DQ7 Reimgained. It deserves the best treatment

Yusuke Tomizawa explains the Tales Of series development progresses ahead of Xillia Remastered's release | RPG Site Tales of Xillia 2 Remastered is also in the works, but whether it will be ready first before other titles is still yet unknown.

With DQ this week, I've had to add xillia to the back burner (will be my game after dq1).

They thankfully confirmed the Xillia 2 is coming as well, alongside 2 others in the future :)

Loving pokemon za. The battle system changes are great. My team so far. My lil totodile is proving to be a beast 💪

Finished Tactics during my week off. Enjoyed it overall but it's mechanics havent aged well imo. Stuff like how useless magic felt at times as enemies all move out of the way, protect and haste being able to miss your allies.

Great story though (minus the ending) and music. A firm 7 /10

Spent my week off hiking in Norfolk/Thetford area. Was great to just switch off for a bit after a few crazy weeks.

012 was great. Would love a remaster.

That's some monkey paw shit. After losing hope that we may get a decent ff fighter and it's for mobile 😢 😭

Only down side is the party. Still rocking the original set i began with as by the time others joined they felt too far behind to catch up

In chapter 3 of Final Fantasy Tactics. Loving it.

Had no idea how great the story was. Loving having a new ps1 era FF to dive into.

Music is fantastic, and the fact that you can pretty much see what needs levelling to unlock the better jobs, so you can focus your characters development

The first is one of my all time faves. Such a great title and really feel it could have developed into a proper series - as it being dream world related it really let's the devs play around with all sorts of random environments.

Alundra 2 is very very different. I kinda enjoyed it though

Alundra 2! I'm still salty it wasn't a true sequel to the first game and was another game that had alundra slapped on it.

Life update, I'm in the process of buying my own house. Going through all the stress that entails but I'll be starting 2026 off with a bang in my own place (all being well - move is end of jan to mar time frame as it's a new build)

Works the same as ever, but finding a better balance recently

Because I'm on holiday next week I've decided to swap to Final Fantasy Tactics. Whilst still an rpg, it's strategy this time and one of the few spin off games I've never completed.

The music is amazing, and I'm starting to get used to the gameplay. Story and va is top notch

I've dabbled in digimon and got up to the ultimate evolutions, but decided on a break from it. After playing so many bangers of an rpg in a row (rebirth, trails etc) I was finding digi a bit dull if I'm honest. Wasn't gripped in the slightest and the music wasn't great either

Been awhile since I've posted. Been finding it hard to know what to post recently and find myself deleting a post thinking it's a bit boring 😕 .

Need to get back in to the swing of it again.

Gaming update - Trails in the sky was amazing and loved nearly every min (well apart from a mid section).
