Jesse had audaciousness and swag, when it was dangerous to do so.

He spoke to Black people, not at us.

He celebrated us, so I'm celebrating him, flaws and all.

My response to any slander will be "Have you done more?"

The man was the face/target of the Civil Rights Movement after the murder of MLK, plus others. He pushed through COINTELPRO, the 70's attacks on Black organizations, Affirmative Action fight, fought Clinton's crime bill, etc.

Who did more?
