i think that people who use headphones in public places like trains are selfish. keeping all your cool music and podcasts to yourself is genuinely sociopathic and deranged behavior. play it on your phone's speaker and let everyone enjoy it, or don't play it at all

Here are 543 images (1.5GB) of items at the Philadelphia Museum of Art arms and armor exhibit

You're free to use them for anything, even commercially. I tried to focus on details not usually represented in available reference material

So I was searching for Rien Poortvliet's stuff on Etsy and I came across this gnomes illustration of his that I hadn't seen before.

The flies in the bucket. The bits of insect on the floor.
The tadpole picture on the wall.
It just might be one of my favorite things ever.

Here's medieval a staff sling in action.

Had to get these shots in quick before it started pissing rain on us, so the shots aren't aimed well

These are insanely easy to make and insanely fun and easy to use. If you've got dogs and some tennis balls, they'd go ballistic!

J1407b also known as a Super-Saturn. Possibly a brown dwarf with a massive ring system with planets forming in it. Now, latest updates on this object suggest that it is not tied to any star and most likely is not illuminated like this. But who knows, maybe somewhere there is a system like this.

What is the lifespan of software? What if you make software that's silly and full of whimsy? Will people remember it?
