Macron to the UK:

"Never cede to the temptation of populism which is the denial of science or a travesty of the facts. Populists sold you a response which is through nationalist withdrawal. Budgetary, immigration, growth problems from 9 years ago. Were they solved by Brexit? No."

Trickle-down economics was always a sham.

Nothing has ever trickled down.

Wild bird numbers continue to fall in UK with some species in β€˜dramatic freefall’ Species index fell by 4% between 2019 and 2024 – although data shows woodland populations beginning to stabilise

If the human race cannot agree that guns cause deaths, vaccines are life savers and genocide is evil then I’m not convinced we are mature enough as a species to protect our planet even if not doing so causes our extinction.

Amazing business that we could get him for Β£5m, he's probably better than at least 50% of first choice keepers in the Premier League.

He's just a mini Trump. He never has anything positive to say. he just looks for a headline, and the BBC is only too happy to give him the coverage he craves.

Here's a fact for you all.

Prior to 2017 there was not a single documented case of any individual travelling by small boats across the English Channel to caim asylum in the UK.

Not ONE.

This current 'boats' crisis has been largely caused by Brexit.

But for some reason NOBODY is saying that.

I don't understand why Labour didn't purge the BBC of all the far right Tories in senior management positions when they came to power so that they might get a bit of balance back.

I'm much the same. It's just the current voting system that makes me nervous. I don't want to let Reform in.

RBL have wanted an auction all summer, that's part of the reason Arsenal dropped out.
