Das Paper zeigt auch die Möglichkeiten aktivierender und partitipativer Lehre am @zfk-mr.bsky.social und wie gut wissenschaftliche Forschung und Lehre in der Konfliktforschung verzahnt werden können.

Gemeinsam mit meinen tollen Studierenden habe ich eine systematische Demo-Befragung des #CSD in #Marburg durchgeführt. Das working paper enthält neue Erkenntnisse über die Einstellungen, Wünsche und leider auch Sorgen queerer Menschen. Angesichts derzeitiger Angriffe auf CSDs eine wichtige Ressource

Did you control for ongoing war crimes? A Russian flag as comparison would have been really interesting.

That i don't know. I just feel like it's an obligation to recognize that these are highly contested issues almost anywhere, and so they are within ISS as well (and I think the statement does a good job outlining this).

Btw I'm saying this as a member of the German Political Science Association and peace and conflict studies association, both of whom we scandalously haven't heard a peep from. I do think an organizational boycott can be adequate but these ISS counter arguments should be taken seriously as well

I agree with that critique. But the statement expresses well the multiple&unintended effects of boycotting acad. institutions, especially given that some of the few critics of genocide are at unis. This doesn't by default mean it's wrong to boycott, but showcasing that ambivalence is more than fair

Der Angriffskrieg auf Iran und die Unterstützung der BReg wird uns, genau wie im Fall der Kriegsverbrechen in Gaza, noch Jahrzehnte beschäftigen. Zumindest dadurch dass der Rest der Welt sich kaputt lachen wird, sollte Deutschland irgendwelche Forderungen mit dem Völkerrecht begründen.
