Listening to a design systems podcast and dying inside about the host saying they can *finally* build prototypes of their designs thanks to AI. My friend, it would take you a single afternoon to learn HTML. Maybe 3-4 afternoons to learn enough CSS to be dangerous. This has always been true.

The point of the AI project is to provoke despair in creative people. They haven’t produced profits or anything anyone wants, just a steady stream of articles about how us artistic types can’t do the thing we’re already doing, making art. Jokes on them, we’re even better at despair than they are.

I know I know I know LLMs do a lot more than boilerplate but it's bonkers to me that "not typing boilerplate" is *still* the first thing people trot out as why they like them. Why were you doing that before? Did you not know about snippets? Did you not know about *defining and calling functions*??
