There's so much to not understand about all of this and I am full of not understanding.

The cognitive dissonance I get when scrolling through Bluesky annoyed by how many personalities appear to be nothing more than thirst traps and/or OF/JFF advertising... And yet full appreciation of all the hotness.

On a whim I decided to use some Audible credits to get the Last Herald Mage trilogy by Mercedes Lackey. I first read these as a (moody, emotional, and isolated) teenager and loved them. Listening now I find myself in tears frequently and I'm not sure if it's deep rooted trauma or just my age. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'd let the blend job ride if it were me. What did you ultimately decide?

After two black and whites I decided to go for an old favorite... A bloody daddy, which is a bloody Mary with bourbon (old grandad) instead of vodka. Also, bathroom selfie for historical purposes.

Out for a walk after a haircut and decided to drop by the ol' watering hole and get a black & white.

Watched Speed Racer again last night. What an excellent movie. It's too bad it was a box office flop, it was so much fun!

I see. This was my first time seeing the show in any form. I guess I don't have the experience with it to pick up that sort of nuance. Or I'm dense... could be that too. 🤣😂

What didn't you like about Eva's performance?

It really was. Such a great layout.

The theater made you feel like you were part of the club. All of the performances were top notch. I can't express how much I loved the show.

We also had a table within 5 feet of the stage. I could hear the actors' feet hit the floor, it was so unbelievably amazing.

In line for Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club, a sticker on the scaffolding in said line, and then finally at our table.

The experience was so wonderful and the show was so good. It was my first time seeing it so I have nothing to compare it to but Orville Peck did not disappoint as the emcee.

The show was fantastic! I totally recommend going to see it!

I'm so excited to get to see Orville Peck in Cabaret this weekend.
