Numerous large rocks arise from the coastal shore off Pismo Beach, California. There are seagulls sitting near the foreground, and pelicans cover the tops of rocks. There are some clouds in the sky, but the sky is blue. Houses and palm trees on top of a bluff are in the distance.

A photograph of the spiraling interior ramp of Copenhagen's Rundetaarn (Round Tower). The pathway is constructed from interlocking brick in portrait orientation. (There's probably a better bricklaying word for that, but, alas, I am not a bricklayer.) The windows are pairs of long, narrow arches inside arched alcoves. An arch also runs inward from the wall between the windows to the centre of the tower. The walls have been parged with a warm white stucco (again, possibly the incorrect term). The space is old (17th century), but somehow still manages to have the minimalist structure and colouration one associates with modern Danish design.

A great adventure!

This photo captures a serene and tranquil lake scene during early morning. A layer of mist gently rises from the calm water surface, creating an ethereal and peaceful atmosphere. The still water beautifully reflects the silhouettes of the trees lining the distant shore, as well as the colors of the sky. The sky is filled with soft clouds, illuminated by the warm light of the rising sun breaking through, providing a mix of blue, grey, and yellow hues.

These falls drop ~300ft. I will not name this place in case others out there are either stupid and\or young 😊 You’ll notice a chain link fence in the trees to the right of the falls. The end of this fence extends out past the light rock face to the right. We used to swing around this fence, over the drop-off in order to picnic on top of the rock face. Brilliant

Tolkien's novel "The Two Towers" employs rowans as the signature tree for the Ent, Quickbeam. The forest of Fangorn, where Quickbeam and other Ents live, is populated with numerous rowans that were said to have been planted by male Ents to please the female Ents ❤️
