The open world was a choice, and it does feel like it is less of a race game, the circuits feel off, almost more of a tech demo... How are they going to add maps? I feel the same about D4. Not everything needs an open world. Nintendo may have peaked with the last one.

Building a false 3d framework for shadows and normal maps is difficult and time consuming.
Really cool watching your process. Do you believe this will make the level creation easier? Is it scalable? Could you sell it as a pre build or a plug in for the engine you're using?

Silksong killed my weekend, in a good way. I was shocked, the wife sat for hours fail on Phantom and rooted me on through blasted steps.
