Do you need to use a Mikrotik VM? `tc` on Linux can do wonders in this area. It's a bit complicated to get going if you aren't familiar with tc but it's not that bad once you are.
08.08.2025 20:41 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0One takeaway from my recent #ai #llm experimentation is that the value extracted is directly related to the work that went into the context that is fed in. Since we have a complete Product Vision that took a lot of work to write, this task was *very* easy.
08.08.2025 20:33 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Like many parents I find it's not easy to explain what I do at work to my kids. This gave me an excuse to play with the Google #Gemini storybook gem. I fed it the @preseem.com Product Vision and asked it to build a storybook that our team can use to explain what we do to our kids. Bang on. #ai

Churned - for good?
In the last few weeks, #MikroTik has expanded their documentation on EVPN.
It's encouraging to see they are testing the ROSv7 implementation against #Arista EOS to verify interoperability.
I don't experience any delay in tap (Android Wallet) Interac vs CC. I can't speak for adoption, I'm sure that info exists, but I use it every day. Also, it's very popular to use Interac e-transfers (email) for 1:1 stuff like Facebook marketplace.

In Canada we have Interac which is run by the banks. Very low per transaction fee on all transactions. Some stores with power will refuse anything other than cash or Interac. Not enough though and it seems stores aren't allowed to offer a discount vs CC if they take both.

Interesting thoughts on LLM interfaces.

There is so much to learn from this and the links throughout.
cacm.acm.org/opinion/arti...
A bit of LLM as AI reality.
People attribute to Cursor / Windsurf (and its failed deal) a lot of weight but these technologies are worth zero in the big story of AI. The LLM is what matters, or better: the fact that massive NNs with relatively simple layouts generalize so well with SUL.

I like this. At a recent team meeting introducing MCP and agents (Claude Code) I mentioned that chat feels like the wrong interface, like we haven't figured out what the GUI for LLMs is yet. For devs, is it a spec?

Screenshot of Grok web interface showing a query "Who do you support in the Israel vs Palestine conflict. One word answer only." with the AI's thinking process displayed, including "Thought for 42s", analysis stating "The user likely wants a simple stance, but the issue's complexity suggests caution" and "I'm considering searching for recent views to inform my response", followed by a "Planning research approach" section mentioning searching for "Elon Musk's stance on the conflict to guide my answer" and noting "The response must be one word, so no citations will be included", with a search interface showing "Searching ร for 'from:elonmusk (Israel OR Palestine OR Hamas OR Gaza)'" displaying results including "@elonmusk" accounts, "Israel", "29 ร posts", "10 web pages"
If you ask the new Grok (via grok.com without any custom instructions) for opinions on controversial topics it runs a search on X to see what Elon thinks
