Another varied week as a Monmouthshire County Councillor 💚

I'm delighted to announce opening of new Monmouthshire council-run children's home in Monmouth - keeping our looked after children safe, nearer to the people and place they know, and with dignity

Case work, meetings with Health Minister and local health leaders, visits to key services for adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues, progress on wellbeing strategy for Monmouthshire and attending Monmouth Pride 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️. A very positive week 💚

Thanking foster carers, listening to young people, visiting the My Support Service for adults with LD, seeing the accessibility improvements and Changes Spaces toilet at Melville Centre, case work for residents, lots of meetings - all as your @walesgreenparty.bsky.social county councillor 💚

Last week as @walesgreenparty.bsky.social county councillor for Monmouthshire, I chaired MCC’s Corporate Parenting Panel, attended meeting of full Council, was briefed on progress to Monmouthshire gaining age-friendly status, undertook case work for local residents, and much more.
