Nadeau looked a bit lost on the shuffle, no? And I think the wild had prepped for him on the PP, they had a guy just sitting on him in front of the left dot.

Should we be regretting CAL not coming up on the playoffs instead of morrow? Could have used a bit of grit/toughness..

And cross checks to the shoulder, was it the previously injured one?

Can we please get the Nikishin-Nadeau right-to-left shoot anytime/all-the-time with 3 rebound/puck retrieval/net crasher specialists. Replace Hall with like Martinook and let chaos reign (or rain? Does that count as a hurricane-based pun?)

Also Nikishin missed half a period with an apparent injury but came back πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. Stomach dropped out my butt when Mike freakin Reilly took a Brock Nelson stick to the face around his eye. Millimeters from playing the next set of games with Walker, Chatfield and an all-rookie D corps

this is crazy as a current power ranking. We’re missing top half the D corps (Slavo Miller Ghostie) and nearly a full O line (Robbie, Carrier and svech is MIA even though someone wearing his jersey is on the ice). Stanky is barely noticeable playing C, Blaker has had a rough couple games

Freddie Andersen can stop many kinds of shots, unfortunately an offensive player gloving a puck through a screen is not one

Would be interested in quality of competition across different leagues. Do the college hockey guys look like they’re playing harder comp than Canadian or Russian (mhl/vhl). Is there much difference across college teams (and how much changes year to year)? Like cerrato v poirier

Overall, landlords appear to have borne more of cost increasesβ€”for each $1 increase in insurance costs, their net operating income decreased about $0.72-0.74.

Still, our estimates imply the cumulative effect of this sharp increase in insurance costs raised average tenant monthly rents by $7-$12

There is a positive relationship between insurance cost growth and growth in rental income (property-level revenues), suggesting that landlords raise rents to offset cost increases.

We don’t see this increase for asking rents on new tenants… suggesting existing tenants bear most of the increase

We show that insurance costs for apartment buildings grew more than 75% (in real terms!) from 2019 to 2024, though property insurance costs are still only about 3.8% of annual revenues for the average apartment building.

So there’ll be 7 D in chi-town? Also I don’t really know how they do roster management with AHL only guys too but it’s interesting

Is one of the D prospects going to be sent to Greensboro too? Noticed that there are 3 LD/5 RD in Chicago, presumably Montgomery is bound for Gboro

How would you compare suzuki or robidas at C with the idea to try Stankoven there? (Given he has a recent AHL history seems like it’s possible; not sure how to think about comparing with KK)

If Ryabkin makes the wolves who would get pushed out?
Could Suzuki have a chance to push for a C spot in camp? Would the canes tell him he has a shot when he re-signed for a year?
Will this season give a sense of how CAL (and other wolves D) compare to fringe nhlers like bayreuther and Reilly?

Not sure if anyone has explored it, but I thought it was interestingβ€”WFH seemed complementary with nannies/private child care arrangements but not day cares (maybe related to commuting wedge) in the pre-Covid Census data. My wife and I are going through that decision now!

Alien earth is good but genre sci fi on hulu may not make the leap to mass popularity (same with Platonic as a Seth rogen & rose byrne mid-40s comedy). Sadly Gilded age season ended. Waiting for Task and Slow horses

Have you done much on the premium for scarce positions/roles? Like $$ extra for right shot D, Cs, power forwards. And how much more $$ players are in a year where UFAs are especially thin in their role/position? I’ve also wondered about changing premium of certain skills (forecheck, breakouts, etc)
