I find that my attention span has become quite short. I need to do more long form reading for longer periods of time. Watch long form content. Sit and focus on one thing more. I don’t like this trend in myself. #attentionspan

We have only seen one movie, one cartoon, and one live action series in the DCU. People claiming it is already off the rails seem to have seen a lot of imaginary content. It can’t be off the rails if the train hasn’t left the station.

I’ve never been a fan of Doctor Who. I can’t explain what it is about it I dislike, but I just can’t get into it.

Expecting continuity over 8 decades is stupid. I like to think of comics in eras and only think of the continuity in those eras as relevant.

I mean, Superman Batman and Wonder Woman would be nearing their 90s if it was all continuity. That’s why I always loved the DC multiverse.

I love James Gunn, but I have to be honest. I am failing to understand what the plan is with the DCU. Good show ended after two seasons, strange choices for movies, and no concrete road map. I get that it doesn’t all have to fit together like a puzzle, but I get the impression it’s all unplanned.

Please, DC, don’t let this New Gods book fade away. If the team needs a break, good, but bring them back. This is the best DC has been in a long time. This and the Absolute Universe. You need to take more chances like these. Refreshing storytelling!

DC had Black Lightning on TV. But the DV universe has amazing black characters that I would love to see in live action. Vixen, Static, Icon, etc.

We need a Clive Barker based series. Something that uses all of the myths from his books. Worlds in carpets, fallen angels trapped in the center of a world existing under a modern city, Cenobites, etc. Absolute Horror.

We need this.
