Yesterday in Milton I joined Minister Valdez to highlight our govt’s new investments to prevent gender-based violence. Budget 2025 provides $660M over 5 yrs incl $223M to strengthen supports for those facing violence. More work ahead & I’ll keep advocating for safety & equality

Yesterday was International Men’s Health Day. I encourage men to prioritize their physical and mental well-being. As a mom to three young men, I know how important this is. I’m grateful for the men in my life and remain committed to supporting their health.

I attended a Palliative Care Coalition of Canada event yesterday, meeting hospice workers, health professionals & advocates. After 5 years on the Townsend Smith Foundation Board, I remain committed to bringing a hospice to Georgetown & Milton and championing end-of-life care in Ottawa.

Joined the Milton Santa Claus Parade with the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation, bringing joy, generosity, and community spirit year after year. Huge thanks to the organizers and volunteers who make this festive tradition such a highlight!

Last week I visited the Grade 5 class at Park Public School to talk about serving as an MP and how our government works - I was so impressed by their questions and enthusiasm! Thanks to everyone at Park PS for the warm welcome.
