Robert Redford epitomized this. He didn’t just climb the ladder for himself. He lifted others as he rose. His legacy isn’t just the roles he played, but the countless storytellers he elevated along the way.

Robert Redford was one of a kind. That rare mix of sauve and substance. Brilliant actor, humanitarian, godfather of indie film, and tireless champion for justice and the arts. He fought for underrepresented voices to be heard and we should all be forever grateful for his. See you at the movies, sir.

Cristin Milioti getting her due is exhilarating. And I love that she wrote her speech on the back of a scrap of paper in therapy. We need the raw honesty and soulfulness of actors living their dreams because they reach our hearts through the screen and give us hope. #Emmys

This #Emmys is awesome, but not one person thanking Sal Saperstein is very disappointing.

Owen Cooper pulling off what he did in ADOLESCENCE in one continuous take at 15-years-old rivals even the most accomplished seasoned actor and I am overjoyed for this kid, who ended his speech with “what matters most happens behind the camera.” Keep an eye on this one. #Emmys
