Dense evergreen ground cover fills the frame, its short, needle-like foliage forming a thick, textured carpet of varying shades of green. Several fine, silken spider webs are spread across the surface, nearly invisible except where they catch the light. Toward the bottom of the image, some of the needles are dry and brown, hinting at seasonal change or age.
