For real. As much as I love AEW, their disregard for their women's division has long been a criticism for me. Stat's title was particularly weak.

She was the right person to take it off of Toni, and Thekla was the right person to take it off her. But the execution was weak

For real, that setup was amazing. Kyle deserves all the praise for that.

Someone should write a thesis on how bad Kris Statlander's title run was handled.

Thekla is awesome, but Statlander has been a workhorse for this women's division. She at least deserved to drop the title at a major PPV or event.

How many women in AEW have had their BEST match against Statlander?

I had this with Spectrum in Orlando, went a whole year where my internet would just drop. Had 13 technician vists. The moment I could I called Spectrum to cancel and they kept trying to upsell. Eventually said "Why would I give you MORE money for something that already doesn't work?"

For those who don't follow, that's Brody King and he's been consistently outspoken about how he feels about ICE. He wore a "Abolish ICE" shirt during a show in Arena Mexico and has done a few charities where merchandise he sold went to families split up by ICE

I'm sure it was a frightening situation, but watching @ilhanmn.bsky.social's first reaction to the incident yesterday, which was to go at the guy ready to throw fists, was kind of awesome.

If any liberal politician is thinking of running for office and thinks that anything less than abolishing ICE is acceptable, don't bother running. You're not up to this moment, we don't want you. Don't waste our time.

That's the thing, I think if MJF had taken the belt off of Hangman through a 4-way match like this it would have lessened that, and Max could have still pinned Joe for his revenge. Also I love Joe and I would rather he get another real title run with some legit rivalries before he's done.

I don't get what making Joe a transitional champion accomplished. We could have gone into World's End with Hangman as champ, done the exact same match and finish, and things would make just as much sense if not more.

Been thinking of giving Wuthering a try

December was always such a great time for big geeky movie events. Star Wars and LOTR on release nights were such amazing experiences.

*Quits, boots up Wolfenstein, kills 7 nazis and then quits to something else in my steam library
*All while a 2nd monitor on Youtube is keeping me constantly engaged

I blame Expedition 33 for my sleep issues. Nearly half a year after beating the game and I still spend way too many nights just consuming reactions and video essays.

I'm so torn on the ending to #FullGear. Hangman deserved a longer reign, and a build towards Swerve taking the belt from him would have been such a good test of Hangman's redemption.

At the same time having Hook rejoin Joe is the right call and a team of Hangman, Swerve, and Eddie is gonna kick ass

I'd rather see Angel and Husk form a father/son relationship vs anything romantic. I think that would be much more relevant to the idea of Angel's eventual redemption.

I still think they'd make a good couple and I think that's where the show will go though.

Season 2 of Hazbin was a bit rough for me in the beginning but the songs were all amazing. Serah's song in Episode 2, "Gravity", "Vox Populi", "When I Think About the Future", "Brighter", even Ser Pentious' song in episode 7, all amazing. I can't think of one I actively disliked like in S1.
