It always makes me smile when I see "Air fryer friendly" on food packaging - conjures up an image of the fryer backing away in fear when faced with a product from the wrong supermarket...

Today, the Secretary of State for Transport granted development consent for the Lower Thames Crossing, a 23km road project that will destroy irreplaceable ancient woodland. 🌳💔

We are profoundly disappointed by this short-sighted decision.

As a Strood resident who cares about the environment, this is a very disappointing decision by the Government. Not looking forward to the years of disruption either
