Not a judgment and IDK how you overcome it but...it's striking that every time a fresh national news story drops about ICE in the Twin Cities (ProPublica today), a lot of people respond with "Wow, I didn't realize it was that bad" and everyone in MN goes "Yes and it's a hundred times worse"

At Cedar Riverside - E Building where there was an overnight flood. Nearly 200 units impacted with dirty water in units that include elderly and disabled residents. Working with Commissioner Conley on the ground—City of Minneapolis refusing to inspect the units, protecting their donors.

No need to imagine. The country incarcerates children as young as 9 years old daily in youth prisons and jails. Those children are routinely sexually and physically assaulted and also emotionally tortured. They are fed terrible food and given barely any education. This country has done this for yrs.

If there comes a day when police put their bodies between the feds with guns and their targets, I will praise the police for doing so. I don’t expect to see that day. It might even be a dangerous escalation. But until that day comes … I assume they are helping the feds.

If you see ICE and you have children with you: do not engage. Don't purposefully bring children near them or their facilities. They are criminals with no remorse. They will target the vulnerable.

Angie Craig literally supports what got us here by voting for the Laken Riley Act (which requires arresting anyone for certain crimes, like shoplifting). She voted for this with her corrupt pals at the DFL.

That's because we need to abolish the police.

That means we look at the system we've built, tear it out, and put better stuff in.

- Social programs that provide basic needs

...not wasting gobs of money on systemic racism.
