I was a foster parent (now adoptive) and have been assuming that ICE is putting kids into foster care- into an already broken, overwhelmed system. It’s heartbreaking and rage-inducing. Trauma upon trauma.

It was so satisfying to write in why I cancelled Paramount+. And then to set up monthly donations to PBS and NPR.

I remain convinced that becoming a coward when faced with an authoritarian threat is not good for business.

Thank you for standing up for these kids. This administration’s cruelty is endless.
