It’s been really disheartening to see the things people say about those who use SNAP. Many seem to have little understanding of why the program exists in the first place.

Those accounts on X that worship the president like it’s their full-time job, offering everything short of a hand job... are bots, or at least people who clearly need more access to mental health coverage than the rest of us.

Now they’re refusing to use emergency funds for food assistance—even though their now-deleted shutdown plan said they could.

They have the funding to keep families from going hungry. There’s no excuse.

Rep. Rosa DeLauro: "On the food stamp issue, the money is there! Let them not get away with saying they can't do it. Their political will isn't there to feed the people who rely on the SNAP program which is the most effective anti-hunger program in the USA."

The Walton family (who own Walmart) are worth over $400 billion, yet many of their employees are on SNAP.

Bezos is worth over $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP.

The people who need help are not the problem.

It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage.

ICE is out of control and beyond repair This agency needs to be stripped down to the studs. Dems should start preparing now.
