not to point at anyone in particular, but I have been in and on many different internet communities of various shapes/sizes/technologies and one mistake I consistently see made is assuming the technical part of running a community is the hard part.
it's not.
it's the social part.
it's moderation.

Why would a standby UPS fail to power devices when there's no power outage?
I have an ordinary consumer-grade standby UPS with, I believe, ample power for the devices connected to it.[^1] It's five years old. For the second t...
Today I learned a *lot* about how a #UPS works. The question that started me down this path was: why would a UPS shut off and thus turn off my computer when the power didn't go out?

I saw a take that was like "bluesky needs an algorithm, I don't want to see 100 posts like 'i made coconut curry today'" and I cannot disagree more. I log on to humanity's World Wide Web to see human thoughts. I do not need a god damned robot to tell me which thoughts it thinks are the most human

You know what small accessibility thing Bluesky needs? Tooltips on icons! I didn't realize quite how much I depend on those for learning a new UI until I tried to navigate here. Designers, your icons aren't always obvious to others and sometimes they're too small. Tooltips are cheap; let's use them.

Ok, time to throw a work question out to the intertoobs since my search-fu is failing me.
Does anyone know of tool which integrates C++ snippets with doxygen @code blocks?
Basically I want something that reads snippets from a file and inserts them in doxygen comments (or markdown files).
