Used to put water on fires, now ride my bike in between watching Everton, the former was more enjoyable than the latter

He does, I know nothing about football hence my love of the social experiment that is Everton FC πŸ˜‚

I take my hat off to Tim tonight you’ve proved why I spent a career putting fires out and not managing in the Premier League πŸ˜‚

That is a fantastic result for the blues, well deserved and a great night for the travelling fans most of whom would have been to the Lampard horror show of two defeats in 4 days at Bournemouth

Was that 2 hands in the back pushing him over or was Tarky just not strong enough πŸ€” obviously being Everton as far as VAR is concerned it’s the latter

I’ve just read that in his irritating monotone voice πŸ˜‚

Daughter has just asked would I wear the coat Iraola has got on, my answer: No
Her: why, it’s nice
Me: it is but that kopite Redknapp owns the brand so it’s a hard no.

What I would say is he seems unfairly targeted by refs, 5 bookings for a player who isn’t dirty or cynical in the challenge is ridiculous

If we all agreed with each other life would be very boring πŸ˜‚
shall I mention that I never got the love in for Pienaar, used to drive my Dad mad when he’d say how good he was and I was just like, meh πŸ˜‚

I get the fact he’s still relatively young and has had limited games plus I want everyone who pulls on the shirt to succeed, in an ideal world he would have gone out on loan this season. I won’t write him off too quickly but he strikes me as a player the club have ended up with rather than wanted.

I’m sure Garner is on his 4th yellow as well, cannot afford for him to get carded tonight

You would have thought a player who the club spent all summer chasing and splashed just under half their budget on would be getting a game.

As much as he was a clearly a PSR swizzle I just don’t think Ironbrewman is a PL level player, would be highly surprised if he’s still here next season.

pros and cons list of Putting in protected mobility lanesPros reduce fatalities, reduce injuries, more people biking, less pollution, economic boost, less congestion, healthier population, kids biking/rolling to school, safer sidewalks, helps address the climate emergency, increase active transportation, more inclusive spaces. Cons: A driver might get mad.

If only the pros outweighed the cons.

To be fair two months is akin to an instant return in Everton injury terms πŸ˜‚

Think KDH in an 8 role will be better for the side although he has looked the most likely to score recently. The others just show how thin the squad still is.

It’s staggering, the β€˜trial by media’ line is particularly disgraceful especially considering how they actively encouraged the media to spread lies to cover up their failings.

The usual self righteousness people (mostly on the other place) slagging off supporters for leaving early, my own stance is that until you pay for my season tickets and know what’s going on inside my head don’t worry yourself if I’m there for 1 or 91 minutes of a game. Concentrate on you and DBAC

The 6-2 years ago (I know long memory etc πŸ˜‚) at Villa was my limit in staying to the very end of piss poor performances, not good for me to sit and watch something I’m not enjoying or in the hope we would get something out of it. 88 mins was my limit yesterday knowing that Clare Balding would appear

On a day when the club unveiled the Gary Speed bench I don’t blame anyone for leaving whenever they choose to, we’ve sat through enough shite over the last few years that if people think it would be better for them to leave early then no issues from me.
