I just don’t get why both our CB’s were keeping such a high line especially as neither of the are blessed with pace.

It may have been missed in the doom and gloom of another defeat at home but sh1t the bed that referee was atrocious.

Our attacking play has been woeful for a number of years, I personally think this is the strongest squad we’ve had over the same period, Moyes could & should be doing more. Repeating the same corner drill six or seven times last night when it clearly wasn’t working is a worrying sign of not learning

For their size the Ever Ready lights were probably the least powerful lights in history, obviously all the costs went in to the chrome effect mounting brackets

On a different note, thought the atmosphere was better than recent home games, less of the shouty DJ and background music rather than stood in front of the sound system at the 051, shame about the result like

I want(hope) us to win every game we play, if we can string 60-70 minutes together then we have a chance. A lot depends on the defence and how we deal with their attacking pace.

The sooner the governing bodies of football start punishing the owners of clubs that fall into financial difficulties the better. Like other clubs before them the only ones punished today are the Sheffield Wednesday players, staff and supporters.

It wouldn’t surprise me if once the finances are more settled they move on themselves, especially now that work on the Central Docks has begun I wouldn’t be surprised if the value of the club has increased. Fast forward 5-10 years the Stadium and surrounding areas will be unrecognisable

Certainly has and there’s a way to go yet, heard someone say this week that the club may not have helped themselves before it opened by overselling it, the blue wall the design concepts etc, probably true in some respects, even calling it ‘The Everton Hill Dickinson Stadium’ may have helped

Hard to believe it’s twelve months today since me and my middle lad went to see the U18’s play in the first game at HD, a lot has happened since that first test event and the ground is getting better every time we go. Glad our ST seats aren’t as high up as those we had for the first game 😂
